About Gabion Wire Mesh

Gabion mesh is known as by different shape of gabion box,gabion basket, gabion wall,gabion
mattresses, etc.It is hexagonal wire netting and can be finished by galvanized wire mesh or PVC
coated wire mesh.

Gabion basket shall be supplied in various length,width and heights,in order to strenthen the baskets,all the eages of the structutr shall br selvedged with wire of greater diameter.

1. Material :

galvanized iron wire or PVC coated wire
Galfan (95% zinc -5% Alu Alloy)low carbon steel wire which has good ability of resistance corrosion.

2. Surface Treatment:

Electro galvanized gabion box zinc coating :10g/m2
Hot dipped galvanized gabion box zinc coating :30-50g/m2.
Heavy zinc coated gabion box:250-300g/m2.
Pvc coated ,as usual the pvc thickness is 1mm

3. Mesh Wire: 2.0mm-2.4mm

Mesh size: 60x80,80x100,80x120, 100x120, 100x150, 120x150 ,160x180.
Selvedge wire dia: 3.2mm-4.2mm
Lacing /tie wire:2.2mm/3.2mm
Box size: 2x1x1m, 3x1x1m,4x1x1m, 2x1x0.5m, 2x1x0.3m, 3x1x0.5m, 4x1x0.5m
Weave style:double twisted hexagonal mesh
Diaphragm:every 1 meter length there is one diaphragm .
